We are excited to be able to offer additional sessions as part of our new Life Skills Project. Places are limited and popular for all and booking in advance is required.
Monthly Saturday Wellbeing Walk Group – Different locations around the outskirts of Brighton and the South Downs National Park. Smalls groups of up to 12 people and different length and ability walks which are all accessible by public transport. Walks normally last between 2-3 hours.
Mid-Week Urban Wellbeing Walking Group – Brighton and Hove town/parks. This is smaller groups of up to five people and we meet in a central location and have shorter walks of between 1-2 hours.
Mindfulness and meditation sessions – All levels of practice welcome! 10 sessions per year are currently planned and these will normally take place in the Community Conference room. These are run by a qualified and experienced practitioner.
Life Skills walking logs– Gunny has produced a really useful walking log that can help you plan and record your walks!
Cookery sessions – Learn new skills in a fun environment and enjoy food together. These session will take place in the Community Kitchen, which is based in Community Base. 10 sessions per year and groups of up to 12 chefs per session. These will be run by a qualified cookery teacher and all equipment and ingredients are provided.
