We hope this finds you keeping well and safe. These are incredibly difficult times for people and we want to reach out to offer as much support as possible. We are doing what we can to develop our remote package of support. So far this has included:
Telephone or video calling one to one support via zoom. We are also looking to implement a chat facility.
Jenna’s Wellbeing Pack which includes all sorts of information from online courses, keeping fit and creative activities. We have been adding information and resources to our Facebook and Twitter feeds too, so check these for information, resources and sources of advice.
We have an online yoga session tomorrow afternoon at 3pm hosted by Kat Chuck (known to many of you) This is 5 euro for the session. If there is enough interest we can ensure that we host more of these.
We will be facilitating a set of 4 weekly online meditation and welling sessions. More information to follow in the coming days. Assert are covering the cost for these sessions.
We are looking at how we can deliver elements of our courses remotely too.
The Benefits Service is now able to take new referrals and provide remote support. This is fantastic news. Please contact our new worker Alex firstname.lastname@example.org
Next week is Autism Awareness Week. Many events around the country were planned for this, many of which will now be unable to take place. But Assert will be launching our new Assert Film to celebrate Autism Awareness Week. Watch this space on Thursday 2nd April.
