To celebrate World Autism Day we have found some links to some websites that we think our members might be interested in. These websites are not affiliated with Assert and we cannot control any of their changing content and do not necessarily support everything contained there.
The Girl With The Curly Hair Project are a series of cartoons, books, PDFs, videos and other training materials made by Alis Rowe, who was diagnosed with Autism as an adult. Her materials are used by a wide range of people, from school teachers to the NHS.
Asperger Experts is a website full of videos, articles and courses created and run by people with Asperger’s Syndrome in order to help people understand it better.
The Phoenix Brighton are an art gallery in Brighton who are putting on an exhibition by Johnny (who has Autism) who is a member of Rocket. Rocket are a group of artists with and without learning disabilities. The exhibition (including special events) will be on between the 4th and 29th of April 2018.
